Every weekend, our TRACX EventApps are buzzing with activity from thousands to hundreds of thousands of athletes and fans from all around the world. We're looking for developers who are excited to help keep our servers running smoothly for all these app users and can provide support when needed. We offer you a free course to prepare you for your role as a Weekend Warrior. Will you join our weekend support team and level up your development skills at the same time?

What's your role?
As part of our TRACX Weekend Warrior support team, you’ll contribute on weekends based on a flexible schedule, whenever you’re available or want to put in some extra developer hours. You’ll work with our high-traffic event platform, built with PHP, MySQL, Kubernetes, ArgoCD and Percona, supporting live events with tens of thousands of active users. Your responsibilities may include monitoring server performance, resolving real-time issues, deploying hotfixes, and ensuring uptime during peak event moments. Before you jump in, our senior developers will get you up to speed with the TRACX platform and guide you through the technical workflows and support protocols. We’ll help you build the skills needed to handle live production environments with confidence.
What are we looking for?
Experience in software development or technical support
Confidence working with backend technologies such as PHP, MySQL, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Percona, Laravel and/or Symfony — or eager to learn
Basic understanding of server monitoring, debugging, and incident response
Comfortable working in high-pressure, live environments with large user volumes
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to stay calm during real-time technical issues
Eagerness to grow and expand development skills through hands-on experience
Clear communicator, even during off-hours or under time pressure
Flexible weekend availability, based on your own schedule
Enthusiastic about working on a mission-driven product in the sports and events tech space
Every six months, you can provide us with your preferred weekends. Two weeks in advance, we’ll let you know if you’re scheduled. If you’re called in, you’ll always be paid for at least 3 hours. You’ll handle occasional questions from users or partners via chat (and by phone for urgent cases). In quiet periods, you’ll simply be on standby so you can still plan other things. During busy weekends or large events, we schedule extra team members. Night shifts are always scheduled in consultation and rarely occur. You work from home (or wherever you like), on flexible hours.
